ATWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH
(Philosophy of Ministry)
The BIBLE, (God’s Word, which is the final rule of faith and practice for believers) teaches that the Local Church is made up of born again, scripturally baptized believers, who have come together for the purpose of fulfilling the Lords great command as given in Matthew 28:18-20. The Local Church exists to Glorify God by: Reaching people for Jesus Christ (evangelism), Ministering to the needs of others (serving), Providing opportunities for people to grow in the Lord (discipleship), Enjoying the company of other believers (fellowship), and Worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ together (worship).
“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”
